Lost and Found Recovery Center’s (LNF) mission is to support those seeking recovery from substance use disorder and help initiate healthy, long-term recovery through understanding and experience. LNF focuses on individuality and trust to strengthen each step towards recovery and restoration. Lost and Found Recovery Center is a program of Trinity Lutheran Church, Moorhead, MN. It was started in 1987 through the vision of a woman who knew first-hand the effects of addiction on herself and her family. The vision lives on in this spirit-filled place where everyone is welcome and treated with love, acceptance, forgiveness, and respect. Lost and Found Recovery Center is staffed by professionals in addiction, drug counseling and mental health. The staff are experienced, savvy, knowledgeable, non-judgemental, and caring. A pastoral counselor is also available for 5th Steps and spiritual guidance. All counseling work is confidential and done with utmost love and respect for the loved one who is struggling with the addiction.
Our History
Started in 1987, Lost and Found Recovery Center was meant to fill a gap of information and concern for friends and family members of someone struggling with an addiction while offering counseling around the family disease of addiction. It is available to both family members and the addict. It is involved in prevention measures and public education in the field of alcohol or other addictions. It is now also known as "Lost and Found Recovery Center" to acknowledge its broad outreach in the area. Formerly known as Lost and Found Ministry, Lost and Found Recovery Center is a Christian ministry of healing for those who struggle with addictions.
